Job Description:
• Responsible for providing technical support for “Unified computing system server” Solutions to Client customers and Client Hyperflex Systems.
• Good Experience with Client server hardware and management such as UCS Manager, Client intersight and Client UCS central to manage UCS infrastructure.
• Hands on experience on ESXi hypervisor installation on UCS server.
• Hands on experience on Windows and Linux OS installation on UCS server.
• Having a strong knowledge of UCS C and UCS -B series server, UCS HCI Nutanix node, Client Hyperflex products.
• Hands on experience on UCS-C and UCSM for firmware upgrade, driver installation.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge on Cisco UCS Blades, Chassis, and Fabric Interconnects and IOM related issue.
• Should have a strong working experience on VMware installations, patching and upgrades and maintains them as per customer requirements.
• Hands on experience on UCS B-Series, Rack Servers: UCS C-Series, UCS Server and Systems Management, System I/O: UCSFabric Interconnects and Fabric Extenders, Server I/O UCS Server I/O Adapters and GPUs.
• Able to Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction and analysing server logs; following up to ensure resolution
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VLAN’s, routing, etc)
• Basic understanding of storage concepts (RAID, SAN etc.).
Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge in enterprise virtualization solutions using Client / VMware vSphere
• Good storage knowledge in RAID, disk-subsystem, file system.
• Knowledge in vSAN.
• Good storage knowledge in RAID, disk-subsystem, file system
• Good knowledge of windows and Linux and Nutanix operating system.
• Good to have CCNA/CCNP certification.
