Education Background

  • Degree in Business /Finance with certifications/ experience in procurement/ legal
  • 2-4 years of experience with legal project operations and management in-house or at a law firm (both preferred)

Position Requirements

  • Good knowledge of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Strong experience in e-Billingand matter management
  • Excellent command over the English language both verbal and written is a basic must for this role.
  • Good knowledge of Share Point and Teams tool know how
  • Aptitude and eagerness to learn, experiment with, adopt and promote new technologies.
  • Ability to seamlessly excel in a multi-cultural environment across time zones.
  • Willingness to learn and be sensitive to the dynamic nature of the business and the stakeholder/ customer expectations.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team. Ability to take initiatives to drive for excellence, handle pressure and tight timelines.

Job Description

  • Work on Matter Management tool- Legal Tracker (by Thomson Reuters) for creating matters, POs and reviewing invoices.
  • Creating matters and initiating PO approvals (for law firms) basis the approved RFP & quotation shared by Nokia Legal counsels.
  • Reviewing invoices (submitted by law firms) as it comes in, sending it back in case of errors and acknowledging it if in order.
  • Managing the PO & invoice approval process in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the invoices are timely paid as per agreement before penalties become applicable.
  • Keeping a track of all invoices when fully approved are forwarded to accounting team for timely payment processing.
  • Collaborating and coordinating effectively with internal and external team members to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
  • Prior experience developing playbooks and policies.
  • Extremely organized to manage organizational content in Share Point sites, intranet sites, Teams folders and other digital locations as appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with groups (e.g., finance, operations, sales)
  • Have excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal skills to create effective & high-quality communications & connect with the intended audience.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines.
  • Able to partner closely and flexibly with the Head of NBS L&C and the Global Head Operations & Strategy to manage current operations and adopt new systems and ways of working to optimize efficiency, effectiveness.
