Server Engineer (L1)

Education – B.E./B.Tech/MCA

Certification – MCP/MCSE/RHCE/Azure/VMware or equivalent

Experience – 3+ Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administration of various Operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu & Windows Server.
• Regular Monitoring of Mounted Drives, Active Directory, Event Viewer, Free Space, Health Status, Memory and CPU Consumption.
• Responsible for the resolution of SR/incident related to server issues within stipulated time frame.
• Proper Call Logging/Updation/Resolution in CA Tools.
• Up gradation of operating systems and other application software in the servers as per operational requirement.
• Configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
• Providing support to users for Web Hosting and Application services.
• Application migration, merging and Backup activities.
• Server Security Management – system firewall, antivirus.
• Routing Checking of all the Base Machine/VM Servers.
• Implement Patches in physical & virtual servers on routine manner.
• SLA Management/Audit Management.
• Capacity planning & reporting.
• Prepare MIS reports of all servers.
• Compliance to ISO 20k & 27 k.
